Peripheral retina examination

Hi; I am post Hemi-RVO,& have developed a small area of Peripheral Ischemia.
I was given a FFA Ultra wide field scan at my former Eye Clinic where this was picked up.
since that Scan 9 months ago,I am now attending another Eye Clinic that do not have the
Ultra Wide-field scanning equipment.,However; my RS says she can still view this area of my
Periphery by using another method., Could you explain this other Method to me.,?

She might be using the "good old" examination method.
Best wishes,
