Clean dilated exam, OCT and VFT

I posted several months ago about a huge circle shadow off to the left of the visual field of my right eye. It's there all the time, but more noticeable when I'm in a white room like a bathroom etc with no visual busy-ness. I have now had two eye dilations (one by an optometrist, one by an ophthalmologist), and OCT, and a visual field test. All were within normal limits.

Now I wasn't expecting it to show up on the VF as it's way off to the side. But the other two exams revealed nothing either (apart from my being a glaucoma suspect).

My question is, would all those exams have found something serious? My ophthalmologist pretty much dismissed me as a hypochondriac and insists there is nothing going on in my eye to explain it. Do I just accept that it's "one of those things" and try to tune it out? It's been going on for five months. Well, five months since I first noticed it and started becoming obsessed with it. Thanks, doctor

Most likely anything serious would have shown up in the exams/testing.  "Active surveillance"  can be used where you report any new symptoms or worsening of symptoms. If things get worse or something new develops I would ask the ophthalmologist to refer you to a neuro-ophthalmologist.

Thank you. It really does feel like something mechanical in the eye itself, traction maybe?, very different from a migraine aura, which is what she suggested. I feel like because I am an anxious person, she was sort of dismissive of me. But I am reassured nothing was found
Anxious and hypochondriacs get sick also.
