Poked Eye

My sister poked her eye with a coat hanger last night.  She is in pain and it is swollen with slight puss.  I know she needs to see a doctor, but she doesn't want to go to one over here.  She wants to wait until she gets home.  What should she do?

Where is "over here". That is the type of thing that won't wait for an exam in a week or two. If there is pain and/or blurred vision she needs to see an ophthalmologist.

Hi! I'm Jason, I m  21. four years ago, while playing basketball, I poked my right eye with one of my team-mates pencil. They immediately took me to a walk-in clinic. and I was later transferred to a nearby hospital because something called conjunctive was red, and my eye became increasingly painful. The ophthalmologist was able to re-assure me because I was very agitated. The pain subsisted for two weeks, but it eventually felt better. My eyesight is no longer the same.
Sorry I could tell you more, but this is a public computer and I have to log off. I hope you feel better
