Dr.,
Are any of the newer types of contacts that would work for me - hybrid, GP, soft, etc. extended wear? And resistant to getting clogged up (my allergies)? I might be able to wear contacts if I don't have to handle them so often.
Thanks,
Ron
Hi,
I will likely try contacts again, but it takes very little to irritate my left eyelid, one of the reasons I got rid of contacts years ago. And I know I will have huge problems putting in and removing contacts in either eye. So if I can't use contacts and I can't use glasses, I guess I'm stuck with a nearly useless left eye.
Dear pbug56,
I would recommend that you discuss this with your eyeMD as glasses might not work, if you have a large disparity with the prescription between the two eyes.
