Post Retinal Tear after efffects

Hello,
Having been very high myopic(-20) ...I had CLEAR surgery in both eyes...now some 4-6 months back.

Four days back... I had an increase in floaters and slight loss of focus in LEye...I goto surgeons and found I had samll retinal tear....This was quickly corrected using lazer surgery....and with check up ...find this is now totally fine..

However I still suffer from what i can only describe as a misty out of focus vision (clears slightly when I blink)....Upon examination the doctor found some ....remanant Vitreous gel debri....pasiing my vision line... is this related to out of focus vision??....I was told this will clear....I really am not so sure...can you the Doctor's please explain further to ease my anxiety....and how long this type of situation takes to go back to normal ...if atall....was also told my prescription may change...your comments as usual highly appreciated...

Many Thanks

Your prescription should not change unless you develop myopic degeneration over the years.   You have debris floating around in the vitreous which is very common.  These floaters should improve somewhat over the next year or so but you could get new floaters in the future.  These are very common things with high myopia.  For now be thankful that  you just have a tear and not a detachment.

No effective way to remove floaters other that vitrectomy (which I don't recommend) and that doesn't always get all of them and of course there is a risk of complications and new floaters can appear as well.

Many Many Thanks!! for reply...

If my understanding is correct ....it is the debri that is causing bluryness ??? and is it possible to use any form of Eye drops or medication that can help improve debri clearance...
