Problems focusing after cataract surgery

I had cataract surgery on both eyes(HD lens) in 2015 . For about the last 2 years if i look to my right and down behind me and then turn around and look straight foward my eyes are out of focus. My right looks to the right and my left to the left making me very dizzy .If i close my eyes for about 5 minutes then they focus again. My Optho((eye doc) says maybe i had a mini stroke which i doubt(i am a very healthy near 82 year old) and he says i will probably just have to live with it. That is his opinion, yours would be much appreciated. Harold

I cannot give you a diagnosis, nor even a short list of possibilities.  I would suggest a second opinion with a neuro-ophthalmologist if you have access to one, usually are in medical school faculty.  If not available then a second opinion from a highly regarded ophthalmologist Eye MD in your vicinity
