What might cause a pulling sensation on the top of my head, when wearing new lenses?
I understand, that with my correction, I am not going to get used to these over night, but I just wonder what this pulling sensation/headache is that I am feeling.Due to my sensitivity & high myopia, all opticians in the past, have said that everything has to be lined up & perfect for me,vertex distance, panoscopic tilt, optical center, geometric center, etc.
I feel that something is just not right.I certainly don't know what,& because of my sensitivity,I wonder if the optician knows? When the optician first measured me & had me look in to that portable, hand-held box,& for me to look at the green dot,I told her the dot was off centered. She said for me to not to worry,as both eyes had to move to see where the green dot was located. She said the optometrist said, before I picked up the remade glasses today, that "there wasn't anymore they could do for me".I do have cataracts & am a high risk for detached/torn retina due to lattice degeneration & posterior vitreous separation in both eyes.
Do you have any thoughts on the above?I might add that the same above optician said "She has never scratched a pair of lenses.I don't believe it.
Thank you!

Not a huge prescriptive change so I wonder if it's like you said, perfect alignment, production error or possibly the cataracts but you weren't having these problems before new prescription. That's my initial thoughts. Be persistent. And good luck!

Thank you for your timely reply.
I just noticed that the bifocals on each lens are not positioned alike. Have not had this, with other bifocals. Or could it be because my right lens is so much thicker than the left? I've worn lined bifocals for 18+ years, this being only my third pair. I also paid for polished edges, and it doesn't look like I got that.
Thank you!
