Half of my brothers vision is blocked.

so my brother says he has been having blurry vision in his right eye for a few weeks now. the only thing is that now he sees a black line blocking his vision and he can only see through the bottom half. if he covers his left eye he can't really see anything out of his right eye. he never really said anything until now. what could it be?

THIS IS AN EMERGENCY:  He NEEDS TO BE SEEN BY AN EYE MD OPHTHALMOLOGIST TODAY, IF HE CANNOT SECURE AN APPOINTMENT THEN GO TO AN EMERGENCY ROOM. THIS COULD BE ANYTHING FROM A STROKE TO A BLOOD CLOT THAT HAS GONE TO THE EYE TO A RETINAL DETACHMENT.

IF HE HAS A FAMILY MD OFTEN THE FAMILY MD CAN ARRANGE SAME DAY EMERGENCY CONSULTATION.

CALL HIM NOW AND GET HIM TO AN OPHTHALMOLOGIST OR AN EMERGENCY ROOM THIS MORNING.
