Question on itchy eye lids

Hi,
i have blepharitis and every day i do a hot compress in the morning followed by baby shampoo lid scrubs, and again at night.
However every morning i wake up with dry eyes, and the inside corner of my eyelid is always very itchy and sore. The lid scrubs have helped my eye lids but seem to have made the itchiness and soreness of the inside corner of my lids worse.
It was particularly bad last night and this morning i woke up with 2 large crusty lumps on both my eyelids right in the inside corners of them. As hot compresses dont really reach that narrow area of the eye i am a bit lost as to what to do. I have an unopened tube of Tobrodex which i will only use for emergencies due to the risk factor of developing cataracts so i dont really want to go down the steroid road.
Any advice? Please dont say visit my eye specialist, as i will be in a couple of weeks anyway, but in the mean time some ideas would be helpful.
Thanks

I got rid of Blepharitis. A friend got rid of it too. She used an Avon Facial Scrub that we no longer can obtain. It had Benzethonium Chloride in it.
I found that in WET ONES (red box). I tore each one into 8 pieces.Rubbed each eyelash twice 4 times a day. A week or two of that then down to 3 times a day for a month. Then 2 times a day for 2 months. It itched once or twice more. I jumped on it with the wipes a couple of more times and it was gone.

It is an infection in the roots of the eyelashes. I tried antibiotics 3 times.
Figured out that they  should have been put on the eyelashes and not in the eyes. Hind sight is always clear.

Please don't suffer. Two of us no longer have this. My friend's Blepharitis was going up her eyelids that is why she used a Facial Scrub. I am so greatful to her. The relief is felt right away. you can tell it works as you cut down the number of times you do it as you get better.

Thanks. Yea the area doesnt really get red, i just feel like pulling my eye out and itching that corner properly lol.
I cant think what i could be allergic to, but as i get it when i wake up i think maybe its my bed sheets or the stuff used to clean them, or just dust mites in general.
I know it isnt blepharitis because my lids feel fine.
I actually gave in and used the steroids last night and today my corners are still itchy. That has never happened before, the steroids always get rid of any pain in the morning so that pretty much shows that it isnt a blepharitis related issue.

I am experiencing the same symptoms for about 4 months and a half now. Itching in the inner corner of the eye, irritation, foreign body sensation, redness. This may sound crazy, but I went to see 3 ophthalmologists and 2 optometrists and they all said my eyes were fine an nothing is wrong with it. The last doctor I visited suggested that the problem is not within the eyes, but in the area around the eyes, and that's sinuses. I went to see an ENT specialist and BOOM he found irritation and blockage in the sinus area. Tomorrow I will have a CT scan and hopefully something will come out . As an advise try massaging the sinus area ( nose sides close to the eyes, lower forehead and cheek bones) and see if you feel different.

Then its a good idea to find out the irritant with a doctor who diagnosis & treats allergies and treat appropriately.

honey reliefs all kinds of itchiness whether its in inner corner of eye or on lids, make sure  to keep honey bottle in hygiene condition.

The itching isnt on my actual eye lids though, its the inside corner of my eye. It isnt red or anything either, just itches like mad.
I dont get scalp dandruff either.
Maybe i have developed an allergy of some sort, perhaps to my contact lens solution. Would it help if i buy some anti allergy eye drops?

I too suffer from blepharitis, itchy eye lids etc.

I noticed that regularly applying warm compress on itchy regions will not help instead
consider ignoring if it doesn't itch continuously, gradually it will go by itself.

I too have experiences like heavy itchiness during sleep, at that time i simply put some honey over that region which puts itchiness to manageable limits instead of trying steroid ointments & drops which have many side effects.

If you have scalp dandruff issue use medicated shampoo weekly to put dandruff under control, also check if your thyroid levels are at normal ranges.

I use Lumecare dry eye gel (im from the UK), it has carbomer in it. I use this once a night before bed.
You say apply to the dry areas of my eye lid, well its not even my eye lid that itches its that bit right in the inside corner of my eye. I dont know what its called but its a small lump. It isnt even red which is weird. It just itches and drives me mad.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Consider reducing the eyelid scrubs to once every other day. Also try occusoft foam eyelid cleaner or TheraTears SteriLid foam eye cleaner instead of baby shampoo. Also get some Refresh PM eye lubricating eye ointment and apply to the dry areas on your eyelid daily or at bedtime.
