Don't flip a coin. You'll never regret the time you spent researching which of your two options would be better for you. Then choose the surgeon who is offering what you want. For better or worse, I think that we're moving in the direction of consumers taking more responsibility for decisions affecting their health care.
Thanks Jodi, I know you are right. It's my decision, just wish the docs could be of
more help. They are really expert salesman. One of the offices even had scantly clad women to help with sales. Maybe it's just the part of the country were I live. That particular office was in Beverly Hills. My sister told me to stay away from that practice. I think I will listen to that advice. What ever I choose, I'm sure it's better than the alternative...
It's hard to believe that they have sexy young women (moonlighters from Hooters?)marketing premium IOLs in Beverly Hills. Who are they getting to sell to their female (and gay) patients? We consumers are really going to have to adjust our attitudes when it comes to the medical advice received during an office consultation. Eventually, a poor product (like ReZoom?) will fail in the marketplace, but we don't want to be one of the early buyers who are stuck with it. So everyone contemplating cataract surgery needs to do some research about their options before signing on the dotted line. This forum offers a lot of good advice and valuable testimonials.
Hotchicks selling iol? Hmm. This doctor must have run out of ammo.
