Recent Eye Floaters

I'm 20 years old. Recently I've been noticing a lot of floaters in front of my eyes. I can't really say how many I actually see because they're usually gray in color and not dark enough to see all of the time. I tend to see them usually outside and not indoors but recently I've been noticing them inside as well. I work with computers and they're making my job slightly difficult and often give me very mild headaches. I'm just wondering if there's any cause for alarm. I know floaters are pretty harmless but they just kind of showed up one day and I'm wondering if it's a sign of a more dangerous condition. Thanks in advance

I agree with Dr. O. If it wouldn't have been so bad you could have had a free eye exam at www.eyeexamonline.com

When you already have floaters, you must do a real check up

You are incorrect in saying that floaters are harmless.  New floater can precede a retinal tear and retinal detachment.

See an EyeMD ASAP.
