Red, Flaky Eyelids---PLEASE HELP

I'm a high schooler, and everyday I get mistaken for being high by people who don't know me. This is because my eyelids and eyes are both very red, and it throws people off. A few months back i went to an eye doctor, and he diagnosed me with Blepharitis...

After 5+ visits, none of his suggestions were helping, and i was having minimal improvement in my eye conditions.
All the things that I have tried based on his reccomendations are...

*Eyelid cleansing scrubs
*Johnson baby shampoo
*3 different antibiotic ointments
*Mario Badescu Control cream (found out about this in another blog, did not help me)

My doc believes that the blepharitis is causing my eyes to be red so often, and I have been using eyedrops (visine)  every morning and they work for an hour or so, but not very effectively.

If anyone has had this condition, Please, Please help me. I'm tired of having strangers ask me if im high because my eyes and eyelids are so red.

Thanks for your opinion. I was thinking of seeing another doc. too. Has anyone had any experiences with allergies that caused symptoms similar to what i've described above?

You may have an allergy in addition to the blepharitis.  Get a second opinion.
