Red Eyes Tearing and Burning REALLY WORRIED

For a while now my eyes are tearing and burning
I went to an eye doctor he said I have a small eye infection but gave me artificial tears 1.4% alcohol to treat it. Tonight when I came home from a date my sister helped me clean my eyes with tea some liquid from the eye went to my mouth.
Tomorrow I have a second date and I might kiss the person. I don't want to spread anything. on web md it says this eye problem pink eye is caused by viruses, or chlamydia or gonorrhea. My eye doctor said I don't have pink eye.
I have ocd and ptsd.

Tearing and burning are not symptoms of conjunctivitis. Your symptoms are far more likely due to ocular surface problems (dry eye-tears dysfunction syndrome). Many of the meds used to treat OCD and PTSD can dry the eye and mouth.

Go on your date and have a good time.

1. Read the article on dry eyes  (see this page "Today's Pulse" at bottom. Clinic on the blue dots till you find it.
2. schedule an appointment with an Eye MD in the near future. Ask your family MD or psychiatrist to refer you.]
