Two weeks ago, I had an eye mole (brown spot on the white of my eye) removed. The eye surgeon basically just numbed my eye, and cut the thing out. Immediately after the surgery, there wasn't really any redness in my eye. However a few days following the surgery, redness began to develop. After two weeks, the redness in the corner of my eye has faded quite beautifully. However a little bit of where the freckle was removed from is red. It looks like a blood vessel in my eye burst. I know it's only been two weeks, but i'm still concerned and I guess paranoid that the redness is permanent or will leave a scar. If it's a scar of somesort, I don't know how i'll cope with that. I was wondering if after a surgery like this, a red spot on the white of the eye is common? And if it generally fades with 4-6 weeks?
Thank you so much for your time!
