The main symptom with allergy is itching.  Until you can be seen again by your ophthalmologist, try some chilled artificial tears for the burning and redness.  Your ophthalmologist needs to perform an exam called a gonioscopy, to be sure that you do not have narrow anterior chamber angles, which could be causing the eye pain and headache.  If the gonioscopy is normal and shows that your angles are wide open, you may need to consult a neuro-ophthalmologist.
