It's frustrating, but try to relax and not stress over the blurriness you have from the CSR. It may continue to get better over the next few months. Some evidence suggests that high-stress individuals (type A personalities or people with a lot of stress in their lives) are more subject to CSR. So, taking up a hobby to help you relax may help (yoga, etc). I know this isn't always possible.
To help your retina doctor evaluate what is happening with your eye, try to make brief notes to yourself each week regarding whether the vision is improving at all. Get an Amsler grid (you can print one out online), read about how to use it and do so.
FYI I had an episode like CSR four months ago (although the typical fluid 'bubble' under the retina layer didn't appear on my OCT results) - I had sudden blurriness and distortion of straight lines in one eye. It has gotten somewhat better - the distortion improves in 'jumps' where it's the same for several weeks, then I'll notice that the 'bend' in lines seems suddenly less than before.
It's still there somewhat, though, but just this past week I noticed another slight reduction in the distortion. Hopefully you will notice gradual improvement in your symptoms too. I know it's frustrating and scary, but you are not alone.
\Be sure to GO BACK TO YOUR DOCTOR not later than six months from when the CSR occurred. Take your notes with you about what changes you've seen in your vision over time, and what you notice (if anything) on the Amsler grid. Make sure the doctor is an ophthalmologist who is a retina specialist, because CSR is a problem in the retina of the eye. As Dr. Oyakawa says, there may be a treatment advised at some point in the future depending on how much your eye has improved, and other factors. Good luck!
You should try to reduce your stress. There are no medication for this. Some doctors suggest PDT therapy.
