Replacing MultiFocal IOL with Monofocal IOL

I have multifocal IOLs implanted on both eyes 2 months ago after cataract surgery but having great difficulty adjusting to them.  I am seriously considering replacing them with monofocals.  I would like to know how safe it is to replace them.
Thanks.

I have decided to follow other doctors' advice - not to take the risks of getting them changed.  I will have to learn to live with these multifocals!
