Retina care at UW?

I am asking for a community forum member. Is UW at Seatlle, school of Ophthalomology a food place to go? It is for Murnell. Vitrectomy because of bleeding. Now he has a cataract, so he want s to see aretina specialist and a cataract person. He asked for a clinic in the NW.

Thanks

You can also check online at the AAO website, AAO.org to find an eyeMD specializing in cataract and/or retinal surgery.  This is a good website to find eye doctors.

Dr Kinyoun at UW was reccomended to me. I used him for a second opinion. He also did surgery for a detached retina for a friend.

I used someone else for my detachment/vitrectomy. It was an emergency and I did not have time to shop around for a Doctor.

Now I have a cataract that really needs to be dealt with. If anyone has any good reccomendations in the Seattle area, let me know.
