I am Retina Detachment Surgery on May 10, 2016, gas bubble inserted. June 8, 2016, Dr said Retina had attached, but the Optic nerve was pale or dead and said that pissed him off. Well me too. He said I must have had a stroke during surgery, he sent me to have carotid arteries checked, they were less than 50% blockage and that was normal for my age. I have had every blood test fone, Echocardiogram, MRI and MRI of the orbits nothing out of the ordinary for any tests. Saw a different Dr said the same thing and then I saw a 3rd Dr who gave me drops for glaucoma, but said it probably would not help. This has caused major depression and anxiety. I have a lot of pain in my eye and pain under the other eye. I would like to know if this is the best eye care out there? Or is there a chance for help from glasses or something. Thank you.
