Retinal Telangiectasia

Hi

I am a patient with Retinal Telangiectasia since 2004.
I was wondering whether a medication is better than another to use in order to cure my disease.

I have been advised to take Lucentis, but will need more information and feedback about this medication (side effects).

thank you

You will not go blind from MT but you couldhave it affect your central vision. We don't know a great deal about what causes this or why it progresses in some but not others. Probably the best info would be a www.emedicine.com

There is no cure for RT.
Lucentis is used to treat choroidal neovascularization if it develops.
You can use the search feature and archives to read the many discussions about the use of Lucentis and its cousin Avastin.
