Retinal induced aniseikonia

I live in New Zealand  and  had surgery on my right eye for epiretinal membrane a month ago the surgeon informed me after the surgery that the membrane was tough and he had some difficulty peeling it. Since then I have had binocular distorted double vision .ihave been back to my optometrist but the lenses she has made up do not help.I now feel like a hot potato she doesn't want to make me any more lenses as it is costing her money .The surgeon is also unhelpful said that I had this condition prior to the surgery and that my vision was so bad I didn't  notice. Does any one know of a support group in NZ or any one who specialises in this condition .
At present I am unable to drive as I see 6 white lines on the road 3 of which are wavey two cars etc people are also doubled blurred and distorted
