Retinal issues from while putting motorcycle on main stand

Hi Sir

Thank you for the service you provide here. I was treated for retinal tear in my left eye using laser 9 month back. Everything is fine now.

Today I tried to put my 200 cc motorcycle on main stand and it got disbalanced a bit. I had to use some force to steady the falling bike. I felt some pressure on face and eyes.

I am very scared it might have weakened my retina. Please help.

It is very unlikely you damaged your retina.  The type of injury we would worry about would be a direct blow to the eye. So you should be okay. In any case the symptoms that are worrisome are: sudden increase of floaters, bright flashes like lightening in eye and loss of peripheral vision.    Be sure you wear a helmet when you drive your motorcycle, they are intrinsically dangerous.

Thanks Sir. So you mean to say that the pressure I felt on my face has nothing to do with retina ?
I know it is difficult to give a YES or NO answer, but the chances would be less than 0.1 %
I can't tell that from here but it is not a symptom that is common for retina tear or RD.   Nor can it be quantitated as you wish.   If you are ultra worried call your eye surgeon and discuss.
Thanks Sir for the input.
sure, best to you
