Retinal laser on both eyes. One eye still cant read after a week.

I am very nearsighted with ~-5.50 on both eyes. I wear contacts and sometimes glasses. My retinal specialist suggested that I get laser treatments to seal those tears. I had two sessions. The first session was done on my right eye and the second session was done on my left eye. Two different doctors operated on my eyes. The left eye went pretty well with no pains. Vision stayed normal. BUT....The lasering was a lot more painful on my right eye than it was for left eye. The doctor did two injections on right eye. After the treatment, my eye was very bloody and both far and close up vision was blurry with right eye. Far vision came back after a few days. But close up vision is still blurry and objects seem SMALLER than they actually are.  It is only blurry when i put my glasses or contacts on. Without, my glasses or contacts, reading is not blurry at all.  Do you think the blurriness for reading and smaller objects are temporary?  Also, why would it be blurry only with my glasses or contact lenses?  It is really painful to read when one eye sees clear and the other eye sees very blurry.

Too soon to develop epiretinal membrane.  Just wait and see what happens.  Preventive laser shouldn't lead to vision change

I would ask your surgeon.  Without examining your eyes or knowing exactly what kind of laser was done to your eyes, I can't be sure what is going on.  Are your eyes still dilated?

I am not sure what kind of laser. It was done as a preventative treatment for retinal tears in both eyes. No they are not dilated anymore it has been a week. Both eyes have the same physical appearance, such as pupil size.  But right eye is very weak for close objects and for reading and things look a lot smaller than they actually are. Are these the symptoms for epi-retinal membrane condition? I am just hoping it is becuase of temporary inflammation of the eye but it seems more complicated than that. It did not get any better since the treatment was done. Thank you for your help.
