Right eye feels strange after concussion

I suffered a concussion about 3 weeks ago. I had a CT scan that came back normal. At this point, all of my symptoms are pretty much resolved. My only issue is that my right eye has more floaters than usual and it has an abnormal "heavy" feeling compared to my left. There aren't visual changes (other than the floaters) and I'm not feeling any pain. Just a general and constant feeling of heaviness in my right eye/eye lid, which is not noticeable upon looking at my face. After a visit to an optometrist, I was told that my eyes were healthy (no pressure differences, infection, retina tears, etc). My question is, should I schedule an appointment to see an opthamologist? Do these symptoms warrant an opthamologist appointment? Or is there someone else I should be seeing?

Thank-you,
Cyndi

Thanks for your help. I ended up seeing an ophthalmologist today and he said my eyes are in good shape. He said there could be a chance that sinus inflammation is causing the pressure/heavy feeling.

Hi Cyndi, yes this warrants seeing an ophthalmologist in the next few weeks. It is probably "post concussion syndrome" and hopefully benign. Good luck.
