SEVERE REZOOM INFLAMATION

HELP  My mum has had a rezoom fitted, sight was great for 36 hours, but now she has severe inflamation and no vision at all, she has been on an elevated steroid regime for 36hrs with no improvement, but no deterioration. We are seeing the consultant again tomorrow, with a swab being taken Monday.  Is this appropriate care? Are there any cases of rejection of this lens.  Should it be removed, if so what are her possible outcomes.

This is not directly related to Rezoom.

This could be a serious infection and if it is, intraocular antibiotics will need to be given.
If it is an infection, Monday is a long time to wait to start to find out, in my opinion.

In addition to the steroid drops is your mom also using antibiotic drops? Hopefully it is not an infection.
