Seeing light streaks in vision
Today, I bent down after taking a shower and I saw several white or very bright light streaks in front of my eyes. It lasted for a few seconds and seemed to be both eyes. It looked like fireworks but no color to them. I do have a couple of floaters in left eye and had them checked out a couple of years ago. Did not have a tear or detatched retina. I am female and 43 years old. Any ideas here.....everything I have looked up on this so far leads me to believe this is not reason to rush to the ER. This is the only time this has happened to me and it really did scare me!

This is probably not retinal in origin. You might have had a slightly low blood pressure and combined with the bending had some decrease blood flow to the cerebral cortex. I would not be concerned unless it recurs.
