Seeing things floating in my eye

I am wondering why I am suddenly seeing things float or run across my sight in my left eye.  What is is and is there anything I can do about it?

See an ophthalmologist.  New floaters need to be evaluated for the possibility of a retinal tear which can lead to retinal detachment.

Search the forum for flashes and floater.

Can be something really important /serious -  or no.There's no way for you to know by yourself .You better set an appointment with an eye doctor .especially if you feel the thing is getting worse .( Flashes means urgency ) Hope doctors gives you good news.Good luck!
