If this problem is new (less than year) and/or getting worse then I would get a second opinion. It would be important to see an Eye MD ophthalmologist. If possible a cornea specialist. The problem can be due to needing glasses, improper or ill fitting glasses, if you wear contacts they commonly cause these symptoms and certain disease such as cataracts, cornea or macular disease.

is this emergency or shall i wait for few more days(my appointment is next month only). how could it be due to  needing glasses can u explain that.as a family man i am worried of glaucoma which is called silent thief according to my doctor
Only one type of glaucoma generally causes halo's and its not common (called angle closure glaucoma) it usually cause multiple other severe symptoms such as severe pain, blurred vision, nausea and vomiting and a fixed pupil in a red irritated eye. Since your eye pressure was normal when you had your first exam that is not the case and its not an emergency but I would get a second opinion from an eye MD
what should ask in that should say only about halos (whether it is colored or not does it matter because mine is colored). can refractive errors and dry eyes cause COLORED HALOS
yes and yes but if dry eyes should be much better or go away with blink or instilling an artificial tear
