Severe Hyperopia

I have severe hyperopia, i never wore glasses as a child. I am ambliopia in my left, my right was ok until i turned 20yrs old. now im 34 & wearing +2.75 in right. (my left the same because it doesnt really matter anyway. My vision is prescription is getting stronger every year & i guess it will continue for a number of years. I am concerned not only for myself but my daughter as well. She is lazy in both eyes so we didnt even know she was severe hyperopic as well until she was 4yrs old and went for her 1st vision test. she is now 7 still wearing +5.00 1.50 stig axis 180 right, +6.00 left 1.50 stig axis 180 left. she can see roughly 20/30 in both eyes. Will they get better? Only to get worse when she is 20 like me? Will there be any surgery that can be done? I know she can wear contacts when she gets a little older but they must be very uncomfortable. please give me any info or some hope. thanks

You will need to do your own research on this and talk to a refractive surgery but:
1. corneal laser surgery
2. Intraocular contact lens
3. clear lens refractive surgery

What surgeries would be available, at least to reduce the strength of glasses. (for cosmetic reasons).

You need to understand a lot more about these problems:
1. Every blood relative of yours that has children has a 20% chance of having the problem. Everyone in your blood family should have the child checked by a pediatric ophthalmologist no later than age 2 1/2 to 3 and sooner if eyes looked crossed or child not seeing well.
2. Surgery will not replace the need for glasses.
4. Your child's farsightedness will not go away.
5. Generally the farsightedness does not increase in an adult but due to presbyopia of the loss of ability to focus as we age the vision without glasses gets worse and the glasses get stronger. This us due to the eye unable to correct some of the farsightedness when younger.
