Tinnitus, visual disturbances, ghosted vison, fatigue, twitching muscles, after images, soar neck, migraines, lethargy, congestion when laying down. C.t scan normal. Eyes fine. What the hell is it? Been told I need to wait a further 8 weeks on a neurologist and I've waited 9 weeks so far. Symptoms getting worse every day. With no hope of relief. I'm on whits end with this and I can't keep going on. Nothing can be done till I see neurologist. Everything is revolving around him can't get medication, can't see a physio can't get help anywhere

Where do you live? This sounds like state run socialized medicine to me.  Canada? UK?   Even in those countries its often possible to go to a private practice consultant.  In an urgent situation in US I can get a patient in same day to neurologist, same day CT or MRI, same day ER, same day admission.

I'm from the uk. But we have a waiting list for the Neuro appointment. I've already waited 3 months so far and even on the urgent list I've to wait another 8 weeks, surely you being a doctor knows fine well this this is ridiculous and for someone going through these symptoms should he been straight away ? Especially if the symptoms get worse as time goes by

Yes and practicing in the USA I can't understand all the people that think we should model our healthcare on the UK model.   What good is free care or very low cost care if your are dying, or going blind and can't get in for months and months?    I suppose Harley street consultants are ultra expensive?

I would suggest you try and work on seeing the neurologist sooner either through your family physician or letting their office know your symptoms are getting worse as that is the next step.

I've tried on several occasions to see my neurologist sooner and I've been told the waiting time is what it is and they can't push it forward. They even took me off the urgent list last week in which I had to phone up and ask to be put back onto it again. This has been ongoing for the past 3 months and I can't seem to get help from anywhere untill I've seen the Neuro. I have asked several times to see him sooner but can't untill there is an appointment available. I fear there is something more sinister going on and the gp just doesn't seem to care any. I have no hope left. I can't keep living with all these symptoms as they are destroying my days and destroying my sleep cycles also
