Your daughter is hyperopic (farsighted) and does have astigmatism (cylinder power) in both eyes.  Fortunately the prescriptions are almost identical, which means that she won't have a lazy eye (amblyopia) as a result of the prescription.  Wearing the glasses will correct her vision while they are on, but won't get rid of the hyperopia or astigmatism permanently.  She should wear the glasses at this age, so that she develops proper visual connections with the brain, and for the best visual acuity.  I would recommend an evaluation with a pediatric ophthalmologist, to be sure that the prescription is accurate.  As she gets older, contact lenses could be worn.  Once she is at least 18 and assuming the prescription is stable, refractive surgery such as LASIK is an alternative to wearing glasses or contact lenses.

Thanks Doreen.
I have one question though, can Cylindrical power be reduced ? or she will have same power throughout the life?

Say after 6 month continuous use of glass what is expected ? will her power get reduced somewhat ?

Will any eye excersize be helpful?

Thanks
