Small pinhole (like large pore) near corner of eye

I am curious about a small hole I have in between the corner of my eye and my nose.  It looks almost like a large pore, but I think it might have something to do with tear ducts, but not sure.  Have you heard of this, is it normal?  I'm very interested to find out.

Hi. I'm Oliver. I have one of those "pinholes" too, in my skin right at the corner of my left eye. It's between my eye and nose. My niece has the same kind of "pinholes" on both ears. I went to school with a guy called Gordon Kutswa who had the same pinhole in one of his ears. I don't really know what they're all about or what causes them.

it needs to be "eyeballed" to tell what it is. See an Eye MD.  The most common thing we get is that people are seeing the opening of the tear duct on the inner aspect of the upper and lower eyelid.  Google image "eyelid tear duct opening" or "Tear duct eyelid punctum" and see if that looks like it

My daughter has one of those on the skin outside of her eye near the tear duct. I have a similar hole near my ear, which I recently learned is called an auricular fissula (not sure on spelling, look it up). I figure the hole by her eye (and yours) is something similar.

I found the answer! It a lacrimal fistula. Look it up.

I understand that,but this is not on the eyelid.  This is actually in that skin between the corner of my eye and the side of my nose.  It is only on my left side and there's only one of these.  It is a slightly slanted hole.

One on lower and one on upper lid near nose side is the "lacrimal punctum" or opening of the teat sac.
