Smoke In the eyes

I was puffin on a cigar when it was dark out, and all of sudden i feel this horrible pain in my eye...

Using careful, deductive reasoning i concluded that it was the smoke pouring out of my mouth, floating up, and entering my eye...

and the combination of smoke and heat be damaging???

also a side question: Can one use too much Eye drops?

thanks!

Any tobacco productg increases the risk of cataract, macular degeneration, blood clots in the arteries of the retina. However you may die of emphysema, lung cancer, stroke, heart attack, peripheral vascular disease, bladder cancer before it hurst your eyes. Stop smoking.'

There are many types of eye drops. Some such as artifical tears you can take all you want. Some like steroid eye drops, dilating eye drops can be toxic with just a few doses.
