Wavy vision

6 weeks ago I had a Vitreous Detachment and 2 retinal tears. I had the tears lasered and the doc says they are healing. My problem is wavy vision.  In the center of my vision there is a dip.  Optometrist can't explain it and the Retinologist just says its part of the healing probably.   This problem only came on 4 weeks after the laser. Any answers?  It's only getting worse!

That would mean its coming from your macula.  Read about Amsler Grid Test on Google and print out your "dip" monitor it daily. Show it to your retina surgeon and if they would do a macula OCT test. You likely have some macular pathology that likely is related to the tears or treatment.

My optometrist had me look at the chart and there was a slight dip. I had the OTC test done before the PVD and it was good. Perhaps I should have another.  Also light coming in the side of my eye puts a glare on everything and I have to shade the eye to see the object.
My tears were at 10 and 2
