Some liquid goes down the eyelid into the eye
It gets blurry and painful. The tear duct feels swollen. It's like there is water trapped into my eye. The ophthalmologist won't be around for about a week. What could this be?

What kind of liquid got into the eye. Be sure you rinse well. If toxic material, take shower, wash face, hair, eyelids. Irrigate eye with artificial tears and if available commercial eye rinse. Call the ophthalmologist office for further directions.
