"Spacey" misaligned feeling after one restor implanted
I had a naturally occurring significant cataract in one eye that was difficult to deal with especially being on computer a lot. I'm a very active 48 year old I've been near-sighted and have worn glasses or contacts forever. I didn't complain about them. I'm not type "a" or early adopter. I've never wanted to risk LASIK. My doctor implanted a restor in my eye and it's been a terrible experience I wear a multifocal contact in my other eye. I have an almost constant feeling of being "messed up" and sometimes even nauseous with this spacey, difficulty to focus, vertigo type feeling. I've tried different lens in other eye and even in implant eye; it doesn't help. I've seen several doctors. Generally the majority say just explant it, you wont get used to it. It's been 8 weeks of limbo and I feel pressure to remove it quickly. I'm really scared about getting it exchanged yet can't be stuck like this forever. It's torture. I would never get a restore put in other eye as I won't operate on that eye until this first one is right and don't like one restor experience and would never get a second. Even doctor at large institute didn't have different idea nor could say this feeling would go away over time and said to just remove it. How scared should I be about an explant?
