Sports Injury- Blunt Trauma to Eye

I was recently playing soccer and kicked really hard in my face with the ball. I had to come out of the game because I had total vision loss in my right eye. After a while, my vision came back but only partially. The next day, it seemed better but I notice that in dim lights I have a very large black spot in the inner corner of my eye. It seems to fade but every time I blink it is there and more apparent. I haven't been to a doctor, I was wondering if it was necessary or if this symptom was common and would alleviate itself.

This discussion is related to black spot in vision afer injury.
