Spot in vision

I have macular degeneration in one eye and recently I noticed that I have sort of a small spot shimmer in my good eye. This only is seen when looking at the sky or a plain white wall. Went 4 times to an ophthalmologist and retinal specialist and they could not see any macular degeneration and they said I have a healthy macula. I am guessing that a comprehensive eye exam would show a problem and especially done 4 times by a different ophthalmologist. Any ideas what this could be? I have no migraines or headaches. This is not causing me any vision loss as my central vision is excellent. I am just concerned

Does it come and go or always there? Or just show up on white background or blue sky?   If you have macular degeneration you should have an Amsler Grid at home to test daily. Do the Amsler grid test on the good eye any distortions?   Is your macular degeneration 'age-related"   are you taking AREDS 2 supplements?  Please tell me you don't smoke or use nicotine in any form.

I have juvenile macular as I am 32 years old. I take supplements, amsler grid is fine and dont smoke. Its nor distorted it only bothers me on blank walls or while looking at the sky.
Had it since I was 17 years old might I add. Everyone dismissed macular degeneration it seems a mystery as no one told me what it is!
Assuming your macular OCTs are normal on your good eye the problem could just be an afterimage or entopic phenomena.  There is a discussion thread here approaching 2000 posts and going back 4-5 years about central spots that people see under special circumstances with otherwise normal eye exams.
Do you think I am seeing it cause now I am aware of it :) Never seen it before
I can't answer that question.  Most things are more noticeable if you become hyper-aware of them or seek them out.
