Dear theardnetone,
I would definitely recommend that you seek the care of an eyeMD immediately. It sounds as if you have a retinal problem. Often, in universities, there may be clinics for people without health insurance or you can work out a payment plan with a practitioner.

i had been out drinking on new years eve with friends and did throw up and dry heave one time but the problem did not start till january 2nd.
Go to your couty hospital and ask them to bring in an ophthalmologist. Go NOw! No ins required.
I am not trying to alarm you. I want you to take care of yourself and see if there is a problem. Sounds like you need attention.
