Stye? Help?
Hello, I have a swollen bump on my eyelid. I do not see anything along the lash line so I am wondering if it is something other than a stye and what I should do?
If it came up quickly, is somewhat red and tender then a stye is the most likely cause. Home treatment would be limited to warm compresses and cleaning lid with an lid cleaner like Ocusoft Plus Foam Lid Cleaner. If gets worse see your MD or eye MD for diagnosis and treatment.
If it came up slow, is not red or tender could be a chalazion. Same treatment.
