Sunglass

I bough a new Sunglass, it is well known brand, 100% UV protection. When I'm wearing it i feel the ground is elevated and I feel 'm shorter. When I look straight it is normal but when I look down I feel the ground is carved. Is that normal??

Actually it is not a prescription sunglasses, the lenses are curved and I tried other curved sunglasses and they all the same. My old sunglasses is fine the lenses are less curved. And I asked the sales person on the shop to wear it and see if she feels the same but she said it is fine!!

Not sure what that phenomenon could be unless you have prescription sunglasses.  Have you noticed this effect wearing other types of sunglasses as well?  Could be distortion based on the fit of the glasses and what aspect of the lens you are looking through in downgaze.
