Syst behind Left Eye

I am 49 blind in left eye since birth, nerves and muscles never fully formed,   I have had 3 MRI's in the past month and a half.   I was told that I have an enigma.  I had 3 different Doctors look behind my left eye and they all agreed that I have a cyst behind my left eye they say that they are not sure how long I have had this there.  My Dr from 1993 did an eye surgery on me just to take my Left Muscle and tie it to my Right side so that my left eye would not be lazy anymore.  this Doctor is now Retired I have my Records but it does not state that there was any cyst behind my left eye at that time.   Now I am so scared because they said if they try to biopsy it there will be problems getting to it.  I am afraid it is Cancer. I have had cancer 2 other times in my life. Cervical and Squemacell.   My husband got laid off and we lost our Medical Insurance and now I have no where to go to talk to anyone or to see if I can get this taken care of.  Please I am also now seeing Lightning out of my left eye when I blink is there something to this.  I am blind in this eye. My left Puple also is drooped like a teardrop.

I would appreciate any information or advise you can give to me.

Dear mymontanagirl,

I do think that you do require continued care.  If there is “lightning” or flashing while you close your eyes, it is important to get checked immediately.  I would explain your situation to the eyeMD you have seen to determine whether they can assist you in getting the care you need.
