TO ALL OPHTHALMOLOGISTS IF ANYONE CAN HELP ...

HELLO DOCTORS .... I HAVE A QUESTION REGARDING MY 17 YEARS OLD BROTHER'S CONDITION, IT'S THAT HE HAD A TRAUMA TO HIS HEAD ABOVE HIS RIGHT EYE BEFORE ONE YEAR, THERE WAS YOU KNOW THOSE SIGNS OF ACUTE INFLAMMATION AND HAEMORRHAGE AND HE WAS UNABLE TO OPEN HIS EYE AT FIRST, AFTER THAT, ALTHOUGH THE INJURY WASN'T TO HIS EYE AND THERE WAS NO FRACTURE IN THE ORBITAL BONES, HE EXPERIENCED A BLURRED VISION AND AS HE SAID " LINES MOVING " IN HIS VISION .... AFTER THAT WE DID SEVERAL ULTRASOUNDS AND RETINAL EXAMINATIONS TO HIM THAT REVEALS INTACT RETINA AND OPTIC DISC, BUT THERE WAS ONLY SOME VITREOUS HAEMORRHAGE, SO WE STARTED TO GIVE HIM EYE DROPS " PREDNISOLONE AND DEXAMETHASONE " AND RESTRICT VIOLENT MOVEMENT " WE AIMED TO RESTRICT MOVEMENT HOPING THAT THE HAEMORRHAGE WILL BE ABSORBED " .... STILL ONE YEAR PASSED AND THERE'S NO IMPROVEMENT IN HIS VISION AND ON EXAMINATION, THERE WAS A  SCAR BEFORE HIS RETINA .
I KNOW THAT IT'S DIFFICULT TO TREAT SUCH A CONDITION, BUT CAN ANYONE SUGGEST ANY NEW LINE OF TREATMENT OR SURGERY TO REMOVE THAT SCAR THAT CAUSES THE DISTORTION OF THE VISION .
THE LEFT EYE IS NORMAL .

THANK YOU ALL ....

There are some problems where it is not possible to even generalize without looking in the eye and examining the person, this is one such situation.  The only thing I can suggest is to get a second opinion from a neuroophthalmologist or retina Eye surgeon. Sorry I can't do more
