Hi -
I'm trying to determine whether this is something I need to be looking into or if it is most likely nothing. A few weeks ago, I was sitting at work looking down at my work, when all of a sudden, a shadow came down like a gray curtain from the upper left corner of my left eye. It was as if someone had walked into my peripheral field. It was odd, I looked up to see what it was, and there was no one there, nothing. Then it went away as quick as it came. It didn't last but maybe a few seconds. I was told it could be something with my eye, or it could be a TIA. I've spoken with a couple of doctors and they don't seem to make much of it. I'm 49, female, relatively normal BP (occasional spikes of 180/92ish), have occasional angina, and am on Cartia XT for it. Could this be something with my eye? It only occurred once.
Thank you.
