Update! Please read

Hey, I'm back with an update.

I went to see a neurologist yesterday, I told him about all my symptoms and he did some general tests, but he could not find anything wrong.

Once again I will list all my symptoms, including new ones:

- Straight lines appear to be shaking in a fast back and forth motion.

- I'm having diffuculties looking at certain patterns, black and white lines for example. It's like they blend into each other after looking at it for a couple of seconds.

- I can not focus on detailed terrain, if I look at asfalt for example, it looks like it's "pulsating" or "breathing".

- There's "waves" and "bubbles" of light everywhere, this one is really hard to explain.

- Things I read or look at stays in my vision for a certain amount of time after I've looked at it, if I read something for example, the lines sort of "stays" in my field of vision for several minutes.

- Different hue in each eye when exposed to the sun, when the sun hits my right eye for example, this produces a green-ish hue in my right eye and the colors appear much more dull, this lasts for about 2 minutes after I've moved away from the sun, and the colors go back to normal.

- My left pupil has turned SLIGHTLY bigger than the other. I noticed this a couple of weeks ago, and the neurologist I went to spotted this before I told him about it, but he did not know what it is.

- Tons of bright white spots everywhere, especially when looking at the sky for example.

And I'm sure there's more, just can't think of it right now.

Anyway, so far I've:

- Had two blood tests.

- One CT scan.

- One MRI scan.

- Two visits to an ophthalmologist.

- One visit to a neurologist.

Nobody could find or spot ANYTHING wrong, what so ever, except for the different sized pupils. I'm just wondering, what do you reccommend I do now? It seems like I've done all there is to do, and it's getting worse and worse.
And if ANYONE has experienced anything similar to my formentioned symptoms, please let me know.

And I forgot to mention this, I'm 17 years old.

I now have an EEG appointment in June, I don't know why the waiting time is so long, but it's pretty annoying. Also, I pretty much had to beg my doctor to make the appointment, people seem to doubt that what I'm telling them is true, and they also told me that there was nothing else I could do after I had the EEG.

The most annoying thing is that my vision problems are SO hard to explain to doctors, maybe that's why they doubt me. You just can't understand what it is like unless you have them yourself.

Also, I've discovered YET another strange visual problem.
Let's say I move my finger an inch away from my eyes, with only one of the open, and the other one closed, when I move my finger around, it's like all the things in the background are being pushed around like they're made of gel or something, and it's like a green/orange/red halo around my finger (or whatever object I move around in front of my eye).

I honestly can't take it anymore, it's getting worse, and these problems are so absurd and strange, no one seems to know what they are or what they come from.

And again, anyone who's had any similar problems and know what this could be, PLEASE reply!

I've never heard of such a thing (EEG), and he did not do it, I will call my doctor and have them look into it.

Thanks a lot for replying!

1. If the neurologist did not get an EEG electroencephalogram I would ask they to consider getting one.
2. If your problems continue ask the neurologist to refer you to a neuro-ophthalmologist.

It sounds like you have a condition that is difficult to diagnose.  Is there a teaching hospital in your area?  You might try calling them to set up an appointment with a senior neuro-ophthalmologist (not a resident or fellow).  Have your test results available for the new doctor.  Good luck.
