little worms moving when looking at bright blue sky

lately when i look at bright blue sky on sunning days, i keep see thousands of worms like things keep dashing all over my vision. i am sure they look like worms, sperm like, moving very very fast, bright white colors, dashing around very fast speed, like driving on freeway speed. i am very worry, what can this be?
it all over my vision and it visible when i look at bright blue sky, all the worms are shame shapes, moving extremly fast at same speed all over my vision.
please give me input, thank u

I was seeing the same thing and your post appeared in a Google search. It freaked me out! I was at a nail salon drying my nails in the UV lamp when i first saw it. Looks to be just white blood cells in my case. To help others check, there's an excellent simulation at this page: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blue_field_entoptic_phenomenon

Oops...
Got the answers to the above by Googling:
"Blue Field Entopic Phenomenon".

I see these also and have since at least elementary school when we would watch Space Shuttle launches. That was 40 years ago. I've had good eyesight and eye health. I'm also relatively light sensitive and find it uncomfortable to be outside without sunglasses and prefer dim lighting indoors. Maybe that's why it was evident so early. Blue field entoptic phenomenon seems to explain what I experience well. Thank you to those whom posted that info.

the 'glowing zings' you see when stand up too quickly are likely related to momentary low blood pressure (orthostatic hypotension) and reduced blood supply to the eye.

I get what your describing when standing quickly on occasion, but those are longer and relatively slower than what I think the original post describes. I think that is the Blue field entoptic phenomenon that others have mentioned.

I see these when I've been awake over 48 hours straight...however sometimes when I am well rested and I stand up too quickly I see see these little thingys that zinging around (just a few that glow) ... like sparks...definitely different than the worms i.e. cells...but can those also be cells?

The "worms" are blood corpuscles in the capillaries of your retina.

When I was in the hospital getting blood transfusions a few years ago the same thing was happening to me.  I was extremely low on blood....almost dead.  I found out I contracted Hep C from the blood.  Today is the first time it's happened again....2 years later.  I feel very tired ....my body not my head.  I think anyone that is going through this should be tested for Hep C.

I am not sure of "worms" but an entopic effect of the moving white dots is that you are seeing are (ok, may be) the leukocytes in the retinal vasculature.

I think Rabbitt's "Clinical Visual Optics" reports this.

This vasculature would be the small arterioles and venules that sit on top the retina.

So the big question is, if blood blocks the light (retina sees black) why are these dots/cells seen as white?

i have had these also but i went to the eye doctor and he said my eyes were healthy. i have the floaters and those worm things, but they are only pretty bad when i have caffine. if i drink a cup of coffee i can see the worms things just by looking at my plain walla but if i have no caffine i onl see them in the day light.

everybody sees them. they .  are a fairly recent thing and were not here before. they are not a vision problem. when you were younger you did not see them. nobody did. that is because they were not here before. i suggest you go to youtube and type in     massive sighting 101010     to get . an idea of what you are seeing. they are further away from the sun so they  tend to look like worms when you look at the blue sky...

I have the same problem.  It began almost a year ago.  It initially began with a migraine. The ocular symtoms never went away.  I see sparkly fast moving dots when looking at the sky.  I also have several floaters.  On top of that I see those worm type things when in a dark room...especially when going to sleep, and waking up.  I also see an occassional flash of light.

Can I know the condition of your eyes that you having? because I might have this. My eyes been bad for half a year, and lately I started seeing those "worms" in the sky.
Maybe I should start panicking. I just don't have health insurance so it hard on me now. Can you tell me how is your eyes and what is wrong with your eyes and your treatments? Thank you.

It's considered an entopic phenomena.   I also see these.  I can add that I started seeing them when my eyes started to go bad (autoimmune retinopathy).  I did NOT see these when my eyes were healthy.    It's clamied to be a "normal" phenomena.  Who knows, might be due to optical structural changes in the eye.

Oh, I also see bad reflections off cars and bright lights....I'm extremely photobic (light sensitive) and cant go outside without medical sunglasses.

but, I NEVER see it before, just recently I begin to see. But it can't be blood cells, since it WORMS like looking, white blood cells is round right? but this is "worms" and "sperm" like object looking. it is really blood cells?

I also see rays coming off shinny corners of cars as well as bright lights.

This is normal.  You are seeing the white blood cells in the circulation.
