I recently been having problems with my eyes. In my peripheral vision I will get an intermittent effect. It occurs mostly in the right eye. It is hard to describe but I will try. It reminds me of a dark colored, lava lamp effect. It will flow in my peripheral for a while and then be gone. I also notice I recently had a decrease in vision in both eyes.
I also went to an opthamologist last year. He said that my pupil had a "sluggish" reaction to light. I also was having trouble with double vision. He said that he thought I was suffering from eye muscle weakness. My left upper eyelid is now drooping, in which, several neurologist have noted. They have ran test for MG, but I'm negative. I've been having ongoing neurological problems since Sept. of 2007. The eye symptoms began in Dec. of 2007.
What could cause these symptoms? Can they be related to each other?
(P.S. I'm going to the doctor in a few weeks..just curious)
