What could be causing this?

Since April I have experienced when I look left or right and sometimes up and down its as if smoke runs across my eyes.  I have also experienced blurry vision, and floaters.  I reccently went to the eye doctor and he took a look at my eye with a light and said everything looked fine and didn't seem concerned even though my vision has gotten 3 points worse since my last exam 10 months ago.  Also this all started right after I found a spider on my head I got a real bad headache and then a week later I started having problems with my eyes that have continued to get worse. Could the spider have bit me? What could be wrong? Should I seek a second opinion?

Hello.  Also when you see another eye doctor make sure they check your ocular pressures to see what their readings are. I Hope This Helps!  Good Luck and God Bless

So I had taken the dr.s advice and tried new glasses to see if it would fix the problem, well I just went back to see the eye doctor cause I couldn't see out of the new glasses he still doesn't seem concerned he now says that my vision changing so much in a short period of time is no big deal wth? I really don't have the money to go to another eye doctor as I just put out over $200 for new glasses so I guess i'm just gonna hope I don't go blind.

I would go to a different type of eye doctor, one that will look at your eyes very well. I would go to a Ophthalmologists, they will have the best knowledge for the care of your eyes.
