What glasses do I need to play at tennis?

Am 83, playing for 40 years. Just completed IOL replacement on both eyes. Surgeon says I will have to play with glasses. Do I need 2 pairs, 1 for reading and 1 for distance.  Will gradients work?

Have you considered a pair of clear non prescription goggles that would fit over your existing glasses?  I came across those when searching for a pair of safety glasses.  Check out amazon - "Safety glasses for use with prescription glasses".  All kinds of them out there.

Good for you still playing tennis. Glasses should be impact resistant (polycarbenate)   It's like playing golf. Some very good golfers and tennis players use mutifocal (lineless) and other just use distance and learn to hit a somewhat out of focus ball.
