What is causing my pupils to dilate?

My pupil have become dilated A LOT in the last couple months. There is no change in my medications to cause it. I can't find a trigger factor.  It's not lighting or lack of. Sometimes they will constrict to the size of a pinprick. Not the lighting or lack of. Any ideas what is causing it?

Assuming you have had an eye examination by an ophthalmologist or optometrist that was normal and that the pupils are the same size it should not be a cause for concern.

Pupils, like noses and feet, vary in size from one person to another. Pupils are small in infants, increase in size in our teens and 20s then after 70 or so start to get small again.  Also some pupils are much more active than others.  Your mood changes and pain, excitement and fear can all make pupils much wider.

Pupil size can also be affected by legal and illegal drugs.
